Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Cusco - Journey to Treehouse Inn
Start your excursion with an early morning pick-up from your inn in Cusco. Go via vehicle for around 6 hours, making stops en route for natural life spotting and beautiful perspectives. Upon arrival at Atalaya, transition to a motorboat for a thrilling ride along the Madre de Dios River, followed by the tranquil Palotoa River, until you reach the Treehouse Inn. Relax amidst the jungle's embrace, enjoying cool drinks and local delicacies before embarking on an optional night walk to discover the mysteries of the nocturnal forest.
Day 2: Jungle Exploration & Mountain Trek
After a good breakfast, set out on a four-hour jungle hike to a mountain top contributing all-encompassing perspectives on the Amazon Rainforest. Look out for looks at natural life en route, from deer and monkeys to lively bird species. Get back to the Treehouse Inn for lunch prior to wandering into the timberland for a fishing trip, searching out the slippery piranha and other sea-going fortunes. As sunsets, set out on a herping action to uncover the privileged insights of the nocturnal jungle.
Day 3: Parrot Clay Lick & River Tubing
Witness the exhibition of parrots running to a clay lick at dawn, a remarkable peculiarity in the core of the wilderness. Day 4: Return to Cusco
